The Hornet

from 2112 to 2151, the mining settlements by the Conta Connex Conglomerate were deployed around the moons of Neptune in order to expand their mining capabilities. Creating a large interconnected network of mining station and shipping ports, the two main ones being Pallas-3-2 around Triton and Hippocampus NEX, a converted large asteroid. The Hornet is one of the light payload delivery ship connecting several of the stations in the Neptune Sub System.
Its pilot, Private Manel Sovaan has been piloting it since 2169, and if the Neptune Sub System has lost interest from the investors, her job keeps the vital inter-stations lines open. Known for its vibrant orange color, it is not rare to see the Hornet blasting through the illegal drag races happening in the system.

An improvised concept for a small spaceship, the design brief was only: make it asymmetrical!
I made this model last year, and only decided to make a Wipeout inspired presentation for it last month. So here it is!

The goal of that project was to learn Blender, it was my first own model made in the program.
