The hydrogen transfer station orbiting Triton quickly fell into disuse with the development of the Kuiper Belt mining system. As such, 2 of the 3 hab rings where not built, depriving the workers of a lot of amenities.
Nowadays only a skeleton crew maintain the station operational. The mining operations on Triton’s surface being fully automated, their only contact comes from the crew of the interplanetary shipping haulers and the various messenger ships deserving the Neptune Sub-system.
